About Me
Hey there! Link to heading
I’m a recent grad from McGill University, with a degree in Linguistics and Computer Science.
I’m currently employed in Paris, France as an AI Engineer, where I am developping an agentic framework for distributed storage systems and doing a joint research project w/ École Normale Supérieure in anomaly detection / prediction systems.
My other experiences include:
- undergraduate AI research with MILA and Microsoft FATE, exploring issues in the automatic summarization domain
- ML and full-stack work with Phamily, a HealthTech communication platform for chronic care practitioners
- full-stack work at Amazon, where I worked under the Customer Behavior Analytics org to create a new data ingestion and onboarding pipeline
- freelancing / early entrepreneurship, as I’m a co-founder / CTO of 2 startups focused on local businesses and products
I’m a boundlessly curious person with special interests in math, AI, FP and linguistics, and anything I recently got my hands on. Currently it’s options and the black-scholes equation, from reading Terrence Tao’s blog about it. I love learning autonomously by reading textbooks, papers, and following specialists online on Youtube and Twitter (the latter’s been getting a lot worse though)
I regret not having stayed in academia, so I make up for it by tailoring my professional experience around learning opportunities. Doing pretty good as I might publish a paper by EOY!
